Top 5 Most Frequently Asked Questions

Question #1
How do I hatch my Pokeball and/or make it hatch into an older Pokemon like Darkrai or a shiny Pokemon? (Also, on or near the hatch date) Why hasn't my Pokeball hatched yet?

You can *NOT* do anything to hatch your Pokeballs before the date stated in the top paragraph on the page you adopted them from. Some time within a few days before or after the date stated, the Pokeballs will start to hatch. There is usually an announcement about it in the Site Announcement subforum when this happens. Once the announcement is made, your Pokeballs will hatch when leveled (or automatically hatch on their own, but this can take several weeks due to the large volume of adoptables in need of auto-hatching). You can *NOT* control what Pokemon your Pokeballs hatch into, and shinies seem to rarely and randomly emerge from higher leveled Pokeballs when they hatch. The forum has a list of Pokeball Pokemon adoptables and when they hatched as well as a list of promotional Pokemon adoptables obtained through events.

Question #2
How do I hatch my Dinomon eggs, and how can I get a Division Dinomon, a mutant blue Dinomon, or a specific one of the 4 types of red adult Dinomon? Also, how do I get the Division adoptables Skyling, Otari, Luna, and Sandhorn?

Dinomon eggs turn into hatchlings when they reach a random level between 50 and 90 (assuming that they reach that level within a week, because if it takes longer the egg will turn into a gravestone and will *never* hatch). Hatchlings turn into adults when they reach a random level between 100 and 150. Depending on how much time has passed from the adoption of the egg to it's growth into an adult, the adult form will be different. Within 24 hours from egg to adult, and it will usually turn into a Corrupted Dinomon. If egg to adult takes 24-48 hours, the Dino will usually turn into a 6-Horn Dinomon. 48 hours to 4 days seems to often make a 2-Horn Dinomon. More than 4 days, and it will usually turn into a Hornless Dinomon. (These times are approximate estimates, and may be slightly off.) Every time a Dinomon hatchling reaches adulthood, there is an EXTREMELY small chance that it may become a Division Dinomon, which, when shown to the Leaders, earns it's owner the corrosponding Division adoptable (Sky = Skyling, Sea = Otari, Space = Luna, and Land = Sandhorn). So far as I know, there is no link between the likelyhood or type of Division Dinomon and the amount of time from egg to adult, and a Division Dinomon will override anything else that the egg would have become (such as a Corrupted Dinomon). If the adult Dinomon does not become a Division Dino, there is a chance that it may turn into a mutant blue version of whatever adult form it was going to become. The Dinomon Handler creatures have *NOTHING* to do with Division adoptables. They are merely a way of cashing in all those hundreds of Dinomon you've raised in the hopes of getting a Division Dinomon. Think of them as a consolation prize. (The amount of points you get for an adult Dinomon is based on what kind it is. Corrupted = 4 points, 6-Horn = 3 points, 2-Horn = 2 points, and Hornless = 1 point. Mutant Blue Dinos are worth 5 points more than normal ones (so a Mutant Corrupted Dino is worth 9 Handlers points, 6-Horn is worth 8 points, and so on). Division Dinos are only worth 5 points, so they are *never* worth turning in to the Handlers, as you can get far more from trading them to others.)

Question #3
What is the Click Exchange, where is it, and how does it work?

The Click Exchange link is found on the Adoption pages just above the block of text that tells you if you are logged in to the forums or not. It is the PokePlushies system for leveling adoptables VERY quickly. As for how it works, first you select (or add) an adoptable of your own to gain points for by clicking on the link in the top green box. Once you have selected an adoptable of yours to gain points for, just level the adoptables that appear below yours (which requires answering a basic math question every time). For each adoptable that you level, your selected adoptable gains 1 Click Exchange point. A point is subtracted from your adoptable when someone using the Click Exchange levels your adoptable. The more Click Exchange points you have on your adoptable, the more often it will appear to others and the faster it will level. If you want to change to another adoptable, simply click the link under your adoptable in the top green box, and then select (or add) another adoptable to gain points for. (Keep in mind that all newly adopted adoptables start out with 2 Click Exchange points and at level 1.) When you change adoptables, all the points that you had gathered for your previous adoptable will stay with that adoptable, and you will have to earn points all over again for the new adoptable. Each point will eventually be another level for your adoptable. Also, these points have *NOTHING* to do with the Dinomon Handlers points, which are obtained from turning in adult Dinomon, NOT from using the Click Exchange. (Note: You may wish to level any adoptables that you have a lot of points on before using the Click Exchange each day. You don't have to, but doing so prevents you leveling your own adoptables while using the Click Exchange, thus wasting a hard-earned point.)

Question #4
How do I get *insert the name of an adoptable*, what is this Trade Center people keep talking about, and what are the rules reguarding adoptable trades?

There is a page dedicated to telling you about adoptables and how they are/were obtained. This page is called the Adoptables Guide. The Trade Station is the only official way to trade adoptables on PokePlushies. It allows you to search through trades by owner, adoptable, trade type, or by Auto-Accept contents, and it allows you to make several types of trades such as giveaway, contest, and Auto-Accept (a trade that automatically and instantly goes through if someone offers EVERY adoptable specified in the Auto-Accept, a good way to trade quickly). The Trade Center can only be used with adoptables that are found in your official museum. (A link to your official museum can be found below your avatar and name on the left side of any post you've made on the forums.) Adoptables you've just adopted will now be automatically added to your official museum if you are logged into the forum when you adopt them. Otherwise, you must manually add them by going to your official museum, clicking the "Add Adoptable" link at the top and then entering the name and Unique Code (given to you when you adopt). If you no longer have the Unique Code (not to be confused with the ID number, which is also the name of the adoptable's image), the adoptable cannot be added to your official museum, and it is against the rules to add it to your Forum signature. There is currently no system for recovering lost Unique Codes, and since the Unique Code is the means of certifying that you own an adoptable, you should NEVER give out the Unique Code of your adoptables, even to staff members. (Note: The Trade Center automatically changes the Unique Codes of all adoptables traded through it to prevent theft.) There are also a few rules reguarding trades. No adoptable can be traded for real money, and the only time adoptables can be purchased with money is through the Cash Shop. If you trade outside of the Trade Center, the moderators of the forum will not help you if you get scammed. Asking for or advertising trades on the forum or asking people (via PM or email) to trade adoptables they have NOT either put up for trade in the Trade Center or listed as Extra or For Trade in their unofficial museums is considered begging and could result in a ban. Begging is strictly forbidden!

Question #5
I don't know how to add my adoptables, links, or pictures to my signature! Can you teach me how?

Sure, I can. ^.^ To change your signature, go to the "Profile" link at the top of the forum page (which only appears when you are logged in to the forum). Then click on the "Personality" link in the Profile Menu on the left side of the page. The top box allows you to change your avatar. The bottom box is for changing your signature (which appears under every post you make on the forum). This page tells a lot about the code used on the forums. There is a shortcut to adding your adoptables to your signature on the PokePlushies forum (and it ONLY works on the Pokeplushies forum): just type in [adoptable=*ID code of the adoptable you want to display*]. You can find the ID codes of your adoptables in your official museum, and a link to your official museum can be found below your avatar and name on the left side of any post you've made on the forums. For example, if I wanted to show my Panda on the PokePlushies Forum, I would type the following into my signature: [adoptable=166211]. You can have up to 6 adoptable in your signature at one time, but you are NOT allowed to show any official adoptable in your signature that is not also in your official museum. Also, if your signature is larger than 250 pixels in height, it will be cut off. The afore mentioned code page shows how to post pictures and links seperately, however, posting an image that is also a link is a bit more tricky. If I wanted to put a Quagsire fake adoptable that linked to my museum in my signature, I would type in this: . It would look like this:

Another thing I am often asked is how to center one's signature. All you have to do is enclose your code within alignment tags and make sure that there are no line breaks (returns) in your code. For example, if I wanted to show off my four Seasonal Cash Shop Dragon Cylin in my signature and center them, I would type this (all on one line): [adoptable=271005] [adoptable=271007] [adoptable=271010] [adoptable=271013] . That's editing your signature in a nutshell.
